What is North Festival

North Festival happens every year in Launceston and it is the perfect opportunity to sample and savour some of the best food and drink experiences this UNESCO City of Gastronomy has to offer. 

The festival celebrates the region's outstanding produce, food culture and community with a series of bite-sized events taking place over two weeks in Launceston, Tasmania. Locals, and visitors alike, are invited to eat, drink and experience Northern Tasmania with good food and good times.
